Pfaffia paniculata is a ground vine that is large in size and shrub-like in appearance. In Brazil the locals know it as “para tudo” which translates to “for all things”. In Western culture it is more commonly known as Brazilian ginseng. Pfaffia has been used by the Amazonians for a wide variety of health purposes.
It is considered an adaptogen, strengthens the immune system, strengthens the water barrier of the skin and increases keratinocyte differentiation. It also has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
